The scheme provides individuals with access to a structured programme of learning, focusing on the key elements required when installing timber frame and SIP’s buildings, including health and safety, installation of structural timber systems, roofs, and cavity barriers plus other general construction considerations.
Each installer is required to undertake and successfully complete the online ITS examination, which is a series of multiple-choice questions based on the key elements of learning featured in the supporting installer training manual.

Nelson Framing Ltd are specialist Timber Frame erectors based in Wrexham, North Wales. Providing installation services of Timber Frame, SIPs and Passiv for dwellings nationwide. Our expertise also extends to installing additional insulation and battens, facia and sofit, guttering, sound proof flooring and cladding. All dwellings are constructed using our team of approved and experienced erectors. We have a unique, broad awareness of construction, design and materials.
Our erectors combined have installed over 500 projects comprising of new build homes, Passivhaus developments, commercial and educational projects across the UK.

We use experienced carpenters and joiners, timber frame erectors and skilled labourers. We ensure they have great people skills and a strong, proud work ethic. Along with having valid CSCS and other training competency cards, we always have confidence in the work that our teams carry out.
